As the Corporate Communication Head for the Mining sector, your role is crucial in overseeing the company's branding and communication strategies to ensure a cohesive and consistent flow of communication across all business units. Your responsibilities include: - **Strategic Communication Leadership:** - Oversee communication efforts across departments to align with business initiatives and goals. - Develop comprehensive communication strategies, including crisis communication plans, to enhance the company's reputation. - Guide Central and Site Corporate Communication Executives in project management, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines. - Collaborate with various business units to align communication strategies and support their specific needs. - Establish communication protocols and standards for consistency across all channels. - Track and analyze communication initiatives' effectiveness for continuous improvement. - **Content and Brand Management:** - Curate high-quality content for internal and external channels to maintain brand image. - Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to ensure accurate representation of the company's brand on digital platforms. - Drive branding initiatives to support the company's identity and stakeholder engagement. - **Reputation Management:** - Research and analyze reputation management strategies to position the company positively. - Mentor the CSR team in executing community engagement and sustainability initiatives. - Ensure integrity and accuracy of public releases, including press notes and CSR-related announcements. - Develop crisis communication plans to manage potential risks to the company's reputation. - **Budget Management:** - Oversee the communication budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial constraints. - Review and approve expenditures for optimal resource allocation and ROI. - Monitor billing and budgeting to stay within financial limits and deliver maximum ROI. - **Stakeholder Engagement and Digitization:** - Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate strategic communication. - Supervise major communication events to promote open dialogue within the company. - Lead the digitalization of communication efforts to enhance the company's online presence. **Qualifications and Experience:** - **Educational Qualification:** - Masters / bachelors degree in journalism, brand/strategic communications, or equivalent. - **Work Experience:** - 15 to 20 years of experience in corporate communications.
