Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Construction to lead our construction team and oversee the delivery of large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will have over 20 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. *Strategic Leadership*: Develop and implement construction strategies to achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals and vision.
2. *Project Management*: Oversee and manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
3. *Team Management*: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
4. *Client Relationship Management*: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
5. *Risk Management*: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with construction projects, developing contingency plans as needed.
6. *Quality Control*: Ensure that all construction projects meet the required quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
7. *Budgeting and Cost Control*: Develop and manage construction budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of projects.
8. *Safety and Compliance*: Ensure that all construction projects comply with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
