Job Summary: We are looking for a Purchase Engineer – Mechanical Items who will be responsible for procurement of spares, consumables, and services required for our fleet of heavy machinery (e.g., tippers, excavators, dozers, graders, etc.). The candidate will coordinate with various site teams to collect requirements and execute purchases through vendor quotations and purchase orders. Key Responsibilities: Collect indents and requirements from multiple project sites regularly. Source quotations from approved and potential vendors for mechanical items and consumables (e.g., oils, lubricants, filters, spares, etc.). Evaluate quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and vendor reputation. Issue purchase orders after management approval. Maintain vendor database and develop alternative suppliers for critical items. Coordinate with stores and logistics to ensure timely delivery and stock updates.
