HARDWARE TEST ENGINEER

As a Test Engineer at our organization, you will play a crucial role in the verification of designs and qualification of manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with the design team to develop test plans for verifying designs and qualifying manufacturing processes. - Conducting Board Bringup, Functional testing, and system testing of the Boards/Systems and preparing comprehensive test reports. - Designing and implementing Test jigs and test setups required for Board/system/manufacturing testing. - Performing System Integration testing with the support of Software, Mechanical, and Hardware teams. - Conducting Environmental and certification testing. - Debugging and repairing RMA boards. - Installing and maintaining systems/boards at client locations. - Supporting and participating in company certification activities like ISO-9001, ISO 26262. Your qualifications for this role should include: - Education: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electronic or electrical engineering, or a related discipline. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in using various test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, signal generators, and other specialized tools for hardware testing. - Experience in test planning and execution at HW or System level. - Strong knowledge of hardware components, including microprocessors, memory devices, sensors, analog and digital circuits. - Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, and others. - Knowledge of different compliance standards in HW product development and experience in certification testing. - Familiarity with quality assurance principles and test methodologies to design and conduct effective hardware tests. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose hardware issues and defects. - Effective written and verbal communication skills to document test plans, report test results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
