Job Description

You are sought after to join as a Test Engineer in our organization, where your technical expertise is highly valued. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with the design team to develop test plans for verifying designs and qualifying manufacturing processes. - Performing Board Bringup, Functional testing, system testing of the Boards/Systems, and preparing test reports. - Designing and implementing Test jigs, test setups required for the Board/system/manufacturing testing. - Conducting System Integration testing with the support of Software, Mechanical, and Hardware teams. - Handling Environmental and certification testing. - Debugging and repairing RMA boards. - Installing/Maintaining systems/boards at client locations. - Supporting and participating in the company's certification activities like ISO-9001, ISO 26262, etc. Your qualifications should meet the following requirements: - Education: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electronic or electrical engineering, or a related discipline. - Technical Skills: - Test Equipment: Proficiency in using various test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, signal generators, and other specialized tools for hardware testing. - Test planning and execution: Experience in creating HW or System level Test plans from the Requirements specification and executing them successfully. - Hardware Knowledge: Strong understanding of hardware components, such as microprocessors, memory devices, sensors, analog and digital circuits, and other hardware components. - Protocols: Familiarity with communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, and others relevant to the hardware being tested. - Standards and Certification: Knowledge of different compliance standards in HW product development and experience in certification testing. - Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality assurance principles and test methodologies for effective hardware testing. - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose hardware issues and defects. - Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting test plans, reporting test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers and product managers.,
