Hardware & Network Technician

We are looking for a skilled Hardware & Network Technician in BIT - Baroda Institute of Technology to maintain, troubleshoot, and support the organization’s computer systems, hardware components, CCTV systems, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with system installation, network setup, and resolving technical issues across all our BIT branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and repair faulty components.
• Assemble and upgrade computer systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of all IT equipment.

Networking Support

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform network cabling, crimping, and layout planning.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

IT Maintenance & Security

• Perform regular system health checks.
• Maintain antivirus, security settings, and OS patches.
• Ensure optimal functioning of network and hardware systems across branches.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, IT, Hardware & Networking, or related field.
• Certifications such as A+, N+, CCNA (basic) preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience required.
