Work from Office
Full Time
1. Design and Development: Create detailed designs for electronic circuits and systems, such as PCBs, analog and digital circuitry, and power management solutions. Work on component selection, circuit simulations, schematic design, and PCB layout, ensuring that the design meets performance, size, and cost requirements. Design power electronics for various applications such as Electric Vehicles, EV infrastructure, Medical, and Solar, including motor controllers, battery management systems (BMS), onboard chargers, and IGBT s. Thermal Management: Designing systems with efficient heat dissipation methods, considering product applications that often involve high temperatures. Reliability Testing: Conducting extensive testing for vibration, shock, and temperature cycling to ensure products can endure harsh conditions. 2. Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure that they meet required specifications. Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of hardware issues, adjusting designs to improve performance and reliability. 3. Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with software engineers, firmware developers, mechanical engineers, product managers, and suppliers to align hardware design with overall product development. Provide technical input on hardware-related aspects during project planning and design reviews. 4. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that hardware designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational guidelines, such as EMI/EMC standards, safety regulations, and environmental considerations. 5. Documentation and Support: Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Provide support to manufacturing teams, assisting with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer / Application Engineer Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: Design and develop systems involving different Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, and PowerPC. Responsible for the complete product design lifecycle, including requirements management, development, validation, and qualification. Develop Interface Control Documents (ICD) and work with electrical interfaces like RS232/422/485, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and USB. Interact with CFT (Cross-Functional Teams) to ensure on-time completion of development activities. Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and develop alternate parts/products as needed. Develop vendors and rationalize hardware parts/products based on business requirements. Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering. Strong hands-on experience in Electronics Hardware Schematic design, PCB Layout design, Testing, and Validation. Knowledge of Circuit design, Component selection, Schematic capture, Circuit simulation, Thermal Analysis, and Power Loss Analysis. Experience in validation testing of AC-DC, DC-DC converters, SMPS, and Battery Management Systems. Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, and a positive approach. Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and commodities such as packaging, product costing, and cost evaluation. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following tools: Cadence 17.2, Allegro, Altium, CRO/Logic.
