You should have 6 to 10 years of experience with a good understanding of HANA system architecture and knowledge of the Linux operating system. Your responsibilities will include HANA Installation and Administration, backups maintenance using backint in Hana Studio, stopping and starting the HANA Database Single and Multi-tenant during maintenance windows, installing Hana 2.0 MDC end to end, performing DB Client upgrade, Hana Version upgrade from Hana 1.0 to Hana 2.0, Hana Monitoring using Hana Studio by acting on Alerts, applying licenses for HANA systems, audit log management, enabling audit log for users, enabling traces for performance analysis, performing system health checks, creation of users and giving roles to those users, troubleshooting backup, memory, CPU utilization, and performance issues, parameter configuration changes in HANA, performing backup recovery and point in time recovery for both MDC and Non-MDC systems, troubleshooting HANA database issues by analyzing trace files, and handling P1 and P2 related incidents to provide timely solutions. Your roles and responsibilities will include being responsible for message processing, technical incident management, service and change request management, as well as problem management and root cause analysis. You will be performing installation, patching, and upgrade activities, performance monitoring and tuning, backup and restore, recovery procedures, ensuring high availability of systems including disaster recovery setup, providing technical expertise and support in optimizing System Operation/System Architecture, supporting in the development of concepts and tools to solve and prevent problems and increase efficiency, working in international teams, driving global knowledge transfer and documentation, conducting workshops and training courses for customers, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team, supervising juniors and trainees, planning, setup, and implementation of technical migration projects, and improvement of product and processes. To qualify, you should own a degree (e.g., business informatics, computer science) or have IT training or be a career changer with IT affinity and experience. Outstanding analytical skills, technical affinity, and a strong customer-focused solution orientation are essential for this role. Your day at NTT DATA The Security Managed Services Engineer (L1) is an entry level engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Firewall infrastructure remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and routing the incidents to correct resolver group. The primary objective of this role is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions and focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests. The Security Managed Services Engineer (L1) may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required. What you'll be doing Strong knowledge and Minimum 2 years Hands on Experience in 3 or more areas of security like Firewalls: Checkpoint or Palo Alto or Fortinet or Cisco / Web ATP: Palo Alto / Firewall Rule Analyser: Algo Sec / Network Intrusion Prevention System (NIPS): Cisco / Malicious IP Blocking: Net Scout. Firewall Policy Management. Review Firewall change request based on security standards set by the customer. Monitoring network security devices for any potential outages. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Private Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of our private cloud infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and security. The candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, and experience with scripting and automation tools, along with the ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide support for private cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and network components Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to private cloud infrastructure, including performance and security-related issues Participate in planning and implementation of Change in the infra and ensure flawless execution Perform routine maintenance and updates to private cloud infrastructure Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools Assist in the creation and implementation of backup and disaster recovery plans Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure proper integration and functionality of private cloud systems with other IT systems Develop and maintain documentation of private cloud infrastructure, including procedures and best practices Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed Provide customer service and technical support to internal and external clients Technical Skills: 1. Backup and Recovery: Good Working knowledge on Commvault backup Tool, understanding of the Issues, troubleshooting skills and finding, documenting RCA. Experienced in Windows and Unix/Linux server backup and restores including routine patching in a Commvault environment. Knowledge in handling database backup and restores from/to VMs, such as MS SQL, MySql, Hana, DB2, Oracle Knowledge in TCP/IP and SAN, NAS technologies. Knowledgeable in Commvault auditing, command line operations, logging, and reporting. Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timely manner. Produce regular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery, capacity planning and consolidation. Ensure adherence to the published compliance frame work. Monitor by conducting periodic audits to ensure all compliance aspects are adhered to; Analyse and publish reports on the findings; discuss with the concerned stake holders and follow up on the closure. To prepare business requirement documents for automation/enhancement of the Backup environment, lead pilot and testing efforts of a process rollout including preparation of training material and ensure that customer queries on a new process are responded to. Good Document writing skills and SOP preparation. Good Skills in Handling Incidents, Changes and Problem Management To independently resolve tickets and ensure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. To provide support for on call escalations or L3 level support and doing incident and problem management Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviews or participation in hiring drives. To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases. Flexibility to work in 24\7 shifts . 3. Storage: They should have experience working with storage technologies like SAN, NAS, and Object Storage. They should be familiar with RAID, iSCSI, NFS, etc. 4. Operating systems: They should be familiar with various operating systems like Windows, Linux, and Unix. They should have knowledge of system administration tasks, such as installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software. 6. Security: They should have knowledge of security concepts like access control, authentication, and encryption. They should be familiar with security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. 7. Monitoring: They should be able to monitor system performance and identify issues before they become critical. They should be familiar with monitoring tools like Opsramp, Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.. 8.
