Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian sweets and desserts (mithai, peda, laddu, gulab jamun, jalebi, rasgulla, etc.)
  • Prepare Indian snacks and street food (samosa, kachori, pav bhaji, chole bhature, tikki, etc.)
  • Maintain taste, presentation, and portion control as per brand standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area as per FSSAI standards
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, ensure timely requisition
  • Maintain consistency in recipes and product quality
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely preparation and service
  • Ensure minimal wastage and proper stock rotation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Halwai / Indian Snacks Chef / Karigar
  • Expertise in both traditional mithai and Indian street food/snacks
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in a reputed sweets/snacks outlet or hotel
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
