Job Description

the diagnosis and treatment of women's reproductive health issues, providing pre-natal and obstetric care, and performing both minor and supervised surgical procedures

Patient care:

Diagnosing and treating a range of gynaecological conditions.
Providing pre-natal care, monitoring fetal development, and managing complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
Offering advice and services related to contraception and family planning.

Clinical procedures:

Performing minor and major surgical procedures under supervision.
Assisting in deliveries and other obstetric procedures.

Departmental operations:

Managing outpatient services and ensuring an efficient patient flow.
Conducting patient rounds and supervising the care of inpatients.

Teamwork and supervision:

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians, endocrinologists, and radiologists.
Supervising and teaching junior doctors and hospital medical officers.

Administrative duties:

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
Participating in teaching, research, and ensuring compliance with medical guidelines.
