Mandatory Skills

Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration

• Knowledge of configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter is critical for this role. Guidewire is a popular suite of applications used in the insurance industry, and PolicyCenter specifically handles policy administration.
  

Business Analysis

• Expertise in business analysis, including requirement gathering, elicitation, documentation, and testing.
• Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements for technology solutions.
  

Experience In P&C Insurance

• Understanding the Property & Casualty Insurance domain, particularly New Business and Policy Administration processes.
• Familiarity with the various types of commercial lines (General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Business Owners, Inland Marine, etc.).
• Knowledge specific to North American geography is preferred, given the focus on ISO Commercial Lines and ISO manuals.
  

Client Interaction And Stakeholder Management

• Ability to conduct workshops, meetings, and walkthroughs involving multiple stakeholders.
• Skill in building and maintaining client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring solutions align with business value.
  

Presentation Skills

• Ability to develop impactful presentations (PPTs) for internal and external audiences, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Solution Evaluation

• Strong skills in evaluating technology solutions from a business value perspective, ensuring that the proposed solutions meet the needs of the business and stakeholders.
  

Agile Methodologies

• Experience with Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodologies is a must, as these approaches are commonly used in the software development and implementation lifecycle.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Other Guidewire Products:
• Exposure to other Guidewire products (like BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) would be beneficial, but not mandatory for the role.
• Exposure to ISO Commercial Lines:
• Familiarity with ISO Commercial Lines implementations and understanding ISO Manuals and ERC Content would be a plus. This knowledge helps in aligning business processes with ISO standards for the insurance industry.
