Guidewire ClaimCenter Data Migration Developer

You are seeking a seasoned ClaimCenter Data Migration Developer to lead data transformation and ingestion initiatives for large-scale legacy-to-cloud ClaimCenter migrations. You should possess extensive experience in Guidewire Cloud migrations and hold current certification on the Las Lenas release. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement end-to-end data migration pipelines: discovery, profiling, mapping, ETL, transformation, validation, and reconciliation. - Leverage Gosu, Java, SQL, and Guidewire Cloud APIs to deliver bulk data loads into ClaimCenter on Las Lenas. - Translate complex legacy schemas (e.g., Mainframe, Oracle, AS400, proprietary claim systems) into ClaimCenter entity models. - Optimize performance and integrity through custom scripting and guided load frameworks. - Develop and maintain robust validation toolsdata reconciliation reports, error handlers, and audit logs. - Execute mock migrations, dry runs, and production data cutovers under tight deadlines. - Align with QA and business teams for migration testing, issue resolution, and data quality assurance. - Uphold data governance, auditability, rollback mechanisms, and compliance with standards like GDPR and SOC 2. - Deliver clear documentation for client engagements and audit reviews. - Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in delivery quality. **Required Qualifications:** - 6+ years of Guidewire development experience, including a minimum of 3+ years in Guidewire ClaimCenter data migration. - Proven expertise in ClaimCenter data structures, Guidewire Cloud integrations, and ETL lifecycle. - Strong programming skills in Gosu, Java, and SQL. - Deep understanding of bulk load strategies within cloud platforms. - Real-world experience migrating data into or upgrading ClaimCenter on Guidewire Cloud. - Familiarity with Agile delivery tooling Jira, Git, Jenkins, Confluence. - Exposure to DevOps pipelines and API-driven integration tactics. **Mandatory Certification:** - Guidewire Certified Associate ClaimCenter on Las Lenas. **Soft Skills & Expectations:** - Extremely detail-oriented; treats data as mission-critical with strict quality controls. - Composed under pressure; ready to manage migration cutovers and freeze periods. - Strong communicator with the ability to present migration strategies and risks clearly. - Self-motivated, accountable, and delivery-focused. - Collaborative mindset, thriving in high-performance Agile teams.
