Guidewire Billing Business Analyst (GW Billing BA)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire BillingCenter.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on functional specifications.
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories or functional specifications.
• Support testing activities, including test case development, execution, and defect triage.
• Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, design reviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide subject matter expertise on Guidewire BillingCenter functionality and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and delivery timelines.
• Support change management and training activities as needed.
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst working on Guidewire BillingCenter (GW Billing).
• In-depth understanding of billing lifecycle: invoicing, payments, write-offs, adjustments, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

Nice To Have Skills

• Working knowledge or experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Familiarity with integration touchpoints across Guidewire modules.
• Prior experience in the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
• Experience in leading requirement workshops and stakeholder management.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• Guidewire certification(s) are a plus.
