GSOC Operator - Customer Service

As a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator- Customer Service at Pinkerton, your role will involve utilizing best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that may impact the people, assets, and reputation of one of Pinkerton's largest global clients. You will be responsible for monitoring various streams of security information, such as emails, phone calls, alarms, camera systems, and access control technologies. Your primary focus will be on providing first-line assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors regarding safety and security concerns worldwide. Here are some key responsibilities: - Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. - Provide consistent and quality customer support using effective writing capabilities. - Communicate, detect, assess, and alert others about incidents that may affect safety. - Follow procedures for managing incidents of varying severity. - Provide back-up support and on-call functions as required. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications required for this role include: - Associate degree in international affairs/relations, business, emergency management, political science, criminal justice, or related discipline (Bachelors preferred) or at least two years of equivalent work experience in customer service, contact centers, or corporate security. - Experience within GSOC, SOC, TOC, or similar field is preferred. - Proficient English written and verbal communication skills. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and approachability. - Possess customer service skills. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful work environment. - Effective team player. - Comfortable with a high-tech working environment and willingness to learn new tools and innovations. - Proficient in computer skills, specifically Microsoft Windows and Office. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications outlined above, you should also be aware of the following working conditions: - Regular computer usage. - Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. - Frequent sitting. - Flexibility to work different shifts and assist with overtime when needed. - Willingness to travel as required.
