GSA Data Management and Tool Creation Specialist

As a Rate Management and Negotiation Tools Developer, your primary responsibility is to collaborate with Mode Leaders and customers to design, develop, revise, and maintain innovative rate management and negotiation tools for various modes supported by the GSA in Excel. This role requires you to have an understanding of complex formulas, macros, and VBA. Key Responsibilities: - Create analytic reports and tools for customers - Consult and test applications - Manage and clean large data sets from transportation providers - Assist in implementing process improvements and changes through technical inventiveness - Assist the team with Excel / IT / questions - Collaborate and work with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and vendors - Special projects as assigned - Available to work flexible and on-call hours, including weekends/holiday hours when necessary - Capable of domestic and international travel - proper travel documentation required - Must be available to support US EST working hours Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, macros, and VBA - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage and clean large datasets - Technical inventiveness to implement process improvements - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Willingness to work flexible hours and travel domestically and internationally,
