Group Manager-Log Monitoring

As a Group Manager: Log Monitoring at Airbus Group India Private Limited in Bangalore, India, you will be part of the Digital Platforms Group under the Information Management (IM) function. Your main responsibility will be the day-to-day management of the Monitoring & Logging teams, overseeing operational aspects such as budgeting, service delivery, supplier relations, risk management, and change control support within the IM function. - Lead teams towards success by providing direction and guidance. - Manage and lead the team on a daily operational basis, driving continuous process improvement. - Implement performance management and development processes, along with appropriate training programs. - Provide effective performance feedback through recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when necessary. - Collaborate with the Human Resources Team to recruit the right team members based on business needs. - Coach, mentor, oversee, and provide direction to the team following the organization's policies and procedures. - Develop the team to take delegation and empower them to assume responsibility for their jobs and goals. - Cultivate a workplace culture aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. - Manage work schedules, job rotations, and vacations for the team. - Maintain transparent and effective communication with the team. - Create Service Delivery Reports and drive improvement processes. - Make business decisions in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. - Manage overall budget and ensure compliance with SLAs. - Act as an intercultural bridge between Europe and India. - Coordinate partners and working groups globally in projects. - Develop and maintain detailed project plans. - Lead the selection process for staffing needs through direct hiring and suppliers. - Apply lessons learned for continuous improvement. - Provide an enterprise perspective when addressing business needs. - Liaise with project board/senior management and update progress. - Develop competencies, backups, and prepare for future competencies. - Continuously explore new opportunities and customers within the Global In-house Center Technology Services Solutions framework. - Graduate/Post Graduate with 15+ years in Infrastructure and Application Monitoring. - Proficiency in Service Delivery Management, Project Management, and Leadership. - Experience with Monitoring Solutions tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, HCC, and HP BSM. - Familiarity with Agile/SAFe principles and the Aerospace domain. - Ability to adapt across domains and possess diverse skills. - Strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and understanding the role of Information Management in business objectives. - Mentoring, coaching, and team development skills. - Knowledge of French is a plus.,
