Group manager Data Analytics, E.mobility

Role Overview: Transport is at the core of modern society and the Electromobility organization within Volvo Group is seeking a Group Manager for Data Analytics to play a key role in developing the team and building capability & capacity to deliver various programs within Electromobility. As the Group Manager, you will lead a talented team of engineers to develop cutting-edge technologies and solutions that propel Electromobility forward. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the data life cycle during the product development journey to create world-class solutions for electromobility systems - Provide insights for product development, uptime, and continuous improvement by understanding customer usage and product performance - Be involved in various phases of the product development journey including data design, anomaly detection, and building models for failure prediction - Develop/optimize data pipelines, convey insights through visualization tools, build ML models for uptime or component life prediction, and focus on continuous improvement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and locally to drive Electromobility transition based on cutting-edge engineering and research - Lead and inspire others through strategic focus, manage competence development, and attract, develop, and retain professionals to secure competences for future demands - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize waste and bring in more efficiency, balance capacity with workload, budgeting, and infrastructure, excel in stakeholder management, and utilize a system thinking approach towards problem-solving Qualifications Required: - Masters in Electrical/ Electronics/Mechatronics /Software/Data Science related disciplines - Minimum 10+ years of experience in Data Science involving data life cycle management and aligning to software life/V-Cycle in program development - Minimum 2+ years of experience in leading people in a global organization - Extensive background in technology strategy and planning, including prioritization and budget allocation Additional Company Details (if present in JD): Volvo Group is committed to shaping the future landscape of efficient, safe, and sustainable transport solutions.
