Job Description

As a candidate, you should have technical/functional knowledge in Accounting and closing & reporting processes, especially with a strong background in USGAAP. Your responsibilities will include: - Financial close of multiple entities with varying complexity levels, where you will drive the book closure and work towards reducing the time taken to close the books. - Hands-on experience with HFM is a must. - You will be responsible for driving standardization of processes and implementing best practices. - Acting as a key contact for local teams for record-to-report related questions. - Ensuring that accounting books and records comply with accounting policies and regulations. - Providing guidance to local accountants on more complex accounting standards and SOX guidance. - Coordinating SOX compliance work for all entities and creating awareness of the importance of SOX compliance. - Supporting external and internal audit requests by providing account analyses. - Managing day-to-day operations and coaching team members. - Supporting and leading complex and international ad-hoc projects and ad-hoc reporting. - Supporting systems implementation and modification, ensuring timely delivery of all system testing and validation. - Documenting processes and certifications to ensure that all processes are appropriately documented and periodically certified by team members. - Building and strengthening client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships. - Experience in driving standardization and implementing best practices. - Understanding of the chart of accounts. - Exposure to setting up a new team and transitioning new work.,
