Job Description

Role Overview: As the Group Audit & Reporting Manager at Gentrack, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial accounting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards. You will lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements, manage global statutory audits, and provide technical accounting guidance. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in the finance function. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation of the Group's consolidated financials under IFRS, working closely with the Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller. - Draft Audit Committee Reports on key judgement areas in accounting issues. - Manage the end-to-end statutory audit process for regional legal entities, coordinating with external auditors to ensure timely completion. - Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure consistent application of accounting policies across the Group. - Ensure compliance with reporting frameworks, stock exchange regulations, and internal controls. - Drive process level internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and compliance with corporate governance requirements. - Mentor and coach team members, identify process improvement opportunities, and drive automation for efficient reporting. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 15 years of accountancy and people management experience. - Big 4 or top-tier audit firm experience with a focus on audits of listed or multinational companies. - Hands-on experience in leading complex group audits and regulatory reporting. - Strong working knowledge of IFRS and experience in drafting technical position papers. - Proven ability to work with board-level stakeholders and Audit Committees. - Advanced proficiency in Excel. - Analytical, detail-oriented, with professional judgement, collaborative communication, driven, results-focused, and a continuous improvement mindset.
