Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer with 1-2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling visual content that supports the marketing efforts of WoowLocal. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining and evolving WoowLocal's brand identity and visual guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms. You will be responsible for designing logos, brand assets, and visual elements for various applications, as well as developing brand style guides and design templates for team use. Your role will also include creating engaging social media graphics, digital advertisements, email newsletter templates, and marketing automation visuals for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads. In addition, you will design print marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and promotional print materials, as well as outdoor advertising materials like hoardings and banners. You will also be involved in designing business cards, letterheads, and corporate stationery, along with packaging designs and delivery-related branded materials. As part of the job, you will design user interface elements and icons for mobile applications, create intuitive visual layouts for app screens, and develop promotional graphics and banners for in-app use. You will also design visual assets for seasonal campaigns, infographics, and data visualization materials, along with photography concepts for marketing campaigns. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required, as well as a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse design skills and an understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Preferred skills for this position include experience in poster design, video reels, and social media content creation, knowledge of motion graphics and basic video editing, understanding of social media design specifications, and proficiency in design collaboration tools like Figma or Sketch. Basic photography and photo editing skills, along with knowledge of local cultural elements and Tamil typography, are also advantageous.
