Graphic Designer & Video Editor

As a Graphic Designer and Video Editor at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing visually compelling campaign materials and editing engaging videos for social media and digital storytelling. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing visually compelling campaign materials such as social media creatives, posters, flyers, and infographics. - Creating brand identities, logos, and design systems for candidates and campaigns. - Working closely with the strategy and digital teams to visually translate key messages. - Editing engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media, campaign ads, and digital storytelling. - Adding subtitles, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics as needed. - Managing raw footage, maintaining organized video libraries, and ensuring timely delivery of edits. - Collaborating with strategists, content writers, and campaign managers to align visuals with messaging goals. - Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts for digital campaigns. - Staying updated with design trends, social media formats, and political content strategies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Previous professional experience as a Graphic Designer and/or Video Editor. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) and Canva. - Strong understanding of color, typography, and layout principles. - Experience designing and editing for social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in political, advocacy, or issue-based campaigns, familiarity with Figma or DaVinci Resolve, knowledge of motion graphics or animation, and an understanding of political branding and audience engagement.
