The Role

We are seeking a Graphic Designer & Thumbnail Artist to create eye-catching designs and high-performing thumbnails that maximize clicks and engagement. Your work will play a critical role in how our videos are discovered and experienced by millions of viewers. You will collaborate closely with the production team to ensure our visuals are consistent, creative, and aligned with Sillycorns’ unique style.

Key Responsibilities

Thumbnail Design:

Design visually compelling thumbnails optimized for YouTube and other platforms.

Conduct A/B testing of thumbnails to maximize CTR (click-through rate).

Ensure consistency with the Sillycorns brand style and tone.

Graphic Design:

Create social media creatives, channel banners and other visual assets.

Maintain a library of templates and reusable design assets to streamline workflow.

Collaboration:

Work closely with producers, editors, and the team to translate concepts into strong visual representations.

Stay up to date with design trends, competitor styles, and platform best practices.

Qualifications

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably for digital platforms or YouTube creators.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (After Effects is a plus).

Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

Knowledge of YouTube thumbnail best practices and visual psychology for CTR optimization.

Creative Skills:

Ability to conceptualize and execute bold, scroll-stopping designs.

Keen eye for detail and a sense of what attracts online audiences.

Soft Skills:

Collaborative mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Open to feedback and quick iteration to improve results.

Interest in the latest tech is a big plus
