A Graphic Designer in a marketing team plays a crucial role in visually communicating the brands message, enhancing engagement, and driving conversions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Branding & Visual Identity Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines (colors, fonts, logos, tone). Develop and maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials. Create/update brand assets (logos, icons, style guides). Create and develop visual ideas that align with client or company branding and communication goals. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms (print, web, social media, etc.). 2. Digital Marketing Design Design social media graphics (posts, banners, ads, stories, carousels). Create email marketing templates (newsletters, promotional campaigns). Develop website visuals (landing pages, banners, infographics). Design digital ads (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn ads). 3. Print & Collateral Design Design brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, and merch . Create event materials (invites, banners, booth designs). Prepare presentations & sales decks (PowerPoint/Google Slides). Use tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or other software to design layouts, logos, banners, packaging, brochures, and other visual materials. 4. Content Creation & Visual Storytelling Design infographics, charts, and data visualizations . Create short animations/motion graphics (GIFs, video thumbnails). Assist with video editing (social media clips, promotional videos). 5. UX/UI & Web Design Support Collaborate with web teams on landing page layouts, icons, and illustrations . Design app interfaces, wireframes, or mockups (if applicable). Optimize visuals for mobile responsiveness . 6. Collaboration Work closely with marketing, content, and social media teams . Take creative briefs and deliver designs on deadline . Work closely with marketing teams, copywriters, web developers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive designs 7. Trend Research & Innovation Stay updated on design trends, competitor visuals, and industry standards . Experiment with new formats (AR filters, interactive designs). Suggest creative improvements for campaigns. Tools & Skills Required Designing Skills Software Know How : Example - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Canva. Basic Video/Motion Skills : After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lottie. UX/UI Basics (if applicable). Adaptability : Fast turnaround for marketing needs. Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) Engagement rates (social media, email CTR). Brand consistency across channels. Ad performance (click-through rates). Timely & Quality delivery of Tasks. Marketing Strategies Development & Implementation.
