Role Overview: Weโ€™re looking for a Manager | Team Lead who is not just a closer, but also a builder. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and can drive both strategy and execution. You will play a critical role in driving revenue, leading early GTM efforts, and managing a small but growing sales team. Key Responsibilities Own the entire sales funnel from lead nurturing to closing deals, delivering against ambitious monthly and quarterly revenue targets Manage and mentor a small business development team, setting daily rhythms, targets, and coaching them toward performance Build and optimize sales playbooks, scripts, and CRM processes tailored for our study abroad programs Conduct 1:1 counselling and closing with prospective students and families; high involvement in front-line sales Drive end-to-end ownership of the programโ€™s performance across acquisition, conversion, and feedback loops Partner with marketing to generate leads and with ops to ensure a seamless application experience Identify and plug gaps in the processโ€”whether itโ€™s building a WhatsApp automation, rewriting SOP templates, or jumping on a late-night call with a studentโ€”you get things done Provide regular updates, insights, and growth experiments to leadership and stakeholders Roll up your sleeves and help build a scalable, efficient sales engine from the ground up Who You Are 3โ€“5 years of experience in B2C sales, admissions, counselling, or business developmentโ€”preferably in edtech, study abroad, or higher education domains Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally in a high-volume, high-touch environment Strong team leadership or mentoring experienceโ€”even if informal Highly organized, self-driven, and extremely comfortable with ambiguity An excellent communicator, both in writing and on calls/video Comfortable using tools like CRM (HubSpot preferred), Google Sheets, Calendly, WhatsApp Business, etc. A hustlerโ€™s mindset: โ€œWhatever it takesโ€ attitude to move the needle Bonus: Experience launching new programs or working in startup/zero-to-one environments Why Join Us? Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Sales Trainer + QA/QC Specialist who can own the training lifecycle end-to-end and champion sales excellence from the ground up. This is a hands-on, leadership-critical role that requires you to design, implement, and constantly elevate our sales team's capability and performance. You will work closely with the sales leadership to ensure every team member is not just meeting but exceeding expectations, and delivering world-class student experiences. Key Responsibilities: Training & Development: Build and deliver structured onboarding programs for all new sales hires. Design and run ongoing training sessions on product knowledge, counselling techniques, soft skills, and CRM practices. Create and update training materials (playbooks, call scripts, objection handling guides). Quality Assurance & Improvement: Monitor and audit live and recorded calls for quality, compliance, and effectiveness. Provide feedback loops through coaching sessions, call calibration, and 1:1 interventions. Identify gaps in skills, knowledge, and process adherence; create action plans to close them. Sales Enablement: Drive initiatives to uplift closing ratios, improve customer handling, and reduce sales cycle time. Build incentive-linked quality scorecards and reporting frameworks. Collaborate with leadership to fine-tune lead management workflows, CRM hygiene, and WhatsApp communication standards. Ownership & Execution: Take full ownership of the learning curve of every associate on the floor. Help set up internal certifications, milestone checkpoints, and periodic assessments. Constantly innovate training and quality processes based on market feedback and leadership inputs. Who You Are: 3โ€“5 years of experience in a Sales Training / QA role, preferably in EdTech, Study Abroad, or Higher Education sales environments. Strong ability to coach and mentor both new and experienced sales professionals. Sharp understanding of B2C sales nuances, student counselling approaches, and study abroad landscapes. Hands-on experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot, call recording tools, and performance dashboards. Highly organized, analytical, and able to spot patterns and opportunities for improvement quickly.
