Godown Supervisor

As a Godown Supervisor in Ernakulam, your role involves overseeing various aspects of stock management, load supervision, team management, safety & compliance, reporting, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise stock records, ensure proper labelling, and monitor stock levels. - Conduct regular stock audits and report any discrepancies. - Oversee loading/unloading procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency. - Ensure goods are stored and organized for easy retrieval. - Manage daily activities of staff, provide training to new employees, and address performance issues. - Ensure safety protocols are followed, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure proper storage of materials in line with safety regulations. - Maintain accurate inventory records, report operational issues to management, and prepare regular stock and employee performance reports. Qualifications Required: - 2-3 years of experience in godown supervision or warehouse management. - High school diploma (logistics certification is a plus). - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and supervise a team. - Basic knowledge of inventory management software and safety procedures.
