Godown Incharge

Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Godown Incharge to manage our warehouse operations at our Purnea project site. The ideal candidate should be capable of maintaining accurate inventory, overseeing daily stock movements, and ensuring proper handling of construction materials and goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the godown at the Purnea site.
• Maintain and update stock registers (manual and/or digital).
• Monitor receipt, storage, and dispatch of construction materials.
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and handling of goods.
• Coordinate with purchase and project teams for material requirements.
• Generate and share daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
• Supervise loading/unloading activities and verify delivery challans.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the godown premises.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10+2 or Graduate (preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in construction/warehouse/store handling.
• Good knowledge of inventory systems (Tally, MS Excel, etc.)
• Ability to manage labor and material movement effectively.
• Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of construction materials
• Working experience with civil project teams
• Local language (Hindi) proficiency; English is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,804.41 - ₹10,000.00 per month
