Job Description of General Manager Sales Key Job Responsibilities - Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to successfully achieve business objectives - Monitor competitor products with relevant sales and marketing data - Use and monitor available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate sales performance goals - Identifying key clients and develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients. - Plan visits, Price Negotiation and close Key client contracts. - Develop complete plan along with budgets for marketing activities for team - Monitor daily communications via CRM, Outlook emails and take appropriate steps where ever necessary. - Maintain the average selling price - Keeping the outstanding at bare minimum. Proactively monitors account receivables from directs accounts to maintain a healthy credit control scenario - Develop sales monitoring system for team members for daily, weekly, monthly visible targets vs achievements along with incentive schemes Other Vital Accountabilities - Manage teams with focus on excelling business targets & sales metrics. - Responsible for handing existing customers in import & export market - Focusing more on special grade/value products for achieving the average price. - Developing new business across the globe for Microcrystalline Cellulose Powder, Spirulina Powder and other products. - Responsible for appointing new distributors or end customers. - Coordinate with other heads of departments, integrating objectives and ideas for organizational growth - Allocate resources to various centres and regions; all aimed at achieving results - Responsible for training and mentoring staff; motivating them all for effective performance for the growth of the company Product Profile - MCC is used in Pharma industry: as excipient, bulking agent and as binder to increase tablet hardness. It acts as disintegrating agent, stabiliser, adsorbent, anti-sticking agent and capsule diluent. - MCC has wide applications in food industry. Used as Hot and Cold stabiliser, fat substitute and emulsifier in Ice Cream industry, Frozen foods, desserts & canned meat for improved stability. - Used as gelling agent, stabilizer, anti-caking agent and suspending agent in beverages & Fruit Juices. - It's anti-caking properties in Bakery industry helps improving crispiness, to improve water retention, to reduce calories & breakages. - Spirulina is blue-green algae consumed by humans and animals. It is used as dietary supplement. - Spirulina is available in Powder, Tablet and Capsule formats. Job Specification - Qualification - B. Tech / MSc / M. Pharm/B.
