Job Description

The role of General Manager / Manager Marketing requires an individual with a strong technical and functional knowledge in the following areas: - Managing existing customers effectively while also prospecting new customers to expand the business. - Utilizing cold calling techniques to reach out to potential clients. - Presenting the company's products and services in a compelling manner. - Providing valuable feedback and insights on market trends. - Leading and overseeing a sales team handling multiple products. - Coordinating with the design, production, and marketing departments. - Forecasting sales targets and working towards achieving high sales goals. - Demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills. - Showing a proven track record of team leadership and achieving sales objectives. - Experience in preparing quotations and delivering technical presentations. The ideal candidate for this position should possess 6-10 years of experience in sales of machine tools and special-purpose machines. The educational background required is a BE in Mechanical Engineering coupled with an MBA in Marketing. This role is based in multiple locations including Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Rajkot, hence the candidate should be willing to travel as and when required.,
