Job Description

As a Global Tax Manager at Neve Jewels Limited, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing international tax operations across multiple jurisdictions, including India. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Corporate Tax Planning & Compliance: - Lead corporate income tax planning initiatives globally, optimizing the tax footprint in various regions. - Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns across all relevant jurisdictions. - Manage the global tax calendar to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. - Indirect Taxes (VAT, GST, Sales Tax): - Oversee indirect tax compliance in operating regions including VAT (UK/EU), GST (AU/NZ, India), and Sales Tax (US/Canada). - Implement systems and processes to enhance tax collection, reporting, and reconciliation in each geography. - Customs & Duty Optimization: - Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to optimize import/export duties, especially for cross-border movement of jewellery and loose stones. - Provide guidance on HS code classification, free trade agreements, and India-specific import duty frameworks. - Transfer Pricing: - Develop and maintain global transfer pricing policies aligned with OECD guidelines and jurisdiction-specific rules. - Ensure intercompany transactions, including with India-based entities, comply with appropriate margins and documentation. - Coordinate annual transfer pricing studies and manage country-by-country reporting. - Tax Governance, Risk & Litigation: - Lead global tax audits, inquiries, and manage tax disputes and litigations. - Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, including India's evolving tax environment, and assess business impacts. - Strengthen internal tax governance to align with the Groups risk management framework. - Project Support & Operational Tax Involvement: - Provide tax input for business initiatives, market entries, and cross-border operations. - Support India operations with practical tax matters, ensuring compliance and consistent application of Group tax policies. - Assist in developing internal tax processes and tools for accuracy and efficiency. - Collaborate with external consultants and tax advisors for compliance and submissions. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent international tax qualification; familiarity with International tax regulations is highly desirable. - Minimum 4-6 years of experience in international tax, preferably in a retail, omni-channel, or multi-entity environment. - Expertise in OECD TP rules, Indian TP compliance, and global indirect tax regimes. - Strong stakeholder management, analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills.,
