Global Meeting Room Technology Specialist

As an Engineer (AV Specialist) at EY, you will play a crucial role in operating and supporting the Global Audio and Video Conferencing Services as part of the Meeting Room Technology Specialists team. Your responsibilities will include proactive monitoring of AV devices, troubleshooting issues before end-users report them, providing guidance to end users for Meeting Room devices, and ensuring a seamless conferencing experience. You will be a key member of the Global Meeting Room Technology Specialists Team, responsible for managing meetings and events to ensure an exceptional experience for organizers, presenters, and attendees, thereby contributing to EY's mission of building a better working world through effective meetings. Your key responsibilities will involve monitoring AV devices, troubleshooting issues, escalating unresolved issues, generating AV monitoring reports, creating knowledge articles, and responding to end user queries via Phone, Email, and IM chat. To excel in this role, you must have a basic knowledge of various Meeting Room technologies such as CISCO/POLY video conference, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Surface Hub, Microsoft Teams, Real connect platform, Condeco, Outlook, as well as AV Monitoring tools. Additionally, strong communication, problem-solving skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams are essential qualities. Ideally, you should also possess knowledge of Voice, Video, and Signalling standards & protocols, Webex, Zoom technology, Teams Admin centre, H320/SIP protocols, ITIL fundamentals, and advanced communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels within a geographically dispersed organization. To qualify for this role, a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Video conferencing and collaborations technology support in large complex network environments are required.
