Global IT Infrastructure - Engineer

Role Overview: As a Global IT Infrastructure Engineer based in Chennai, you will be responsible for various tasks related to IT security, focusing on Splunk Enterprise Security, SIEM, SOAR, Linux Administration, and more. Your role will involve detection engineering, Splunk use case configuration, log onboarding, and standing up security servers and appliances. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Splunk Enterprise Security for alerts, reports, and dashboards - Manage Splunk app upgrades and data source onboarding - Demonstrate detection engineering capabilities, including the ability to detect missing data sources - Utilize SOAR skills (XSOAR) to write playbooks for workflow changes and new creations - Administer Linux systems, supporting log rotate, syslog configuration, and maintenance - Deploy and configure Virtual Appliances for security tools - Configure Splunk use cases and XSOAR for optimal performance - Set up and configure security servers and appliances Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT security - Proficiency in Splunk Enterprise Security, SPL, SIEM, and SOAR (XSOAR) - Strong Linux administration skills - B.Tech in IT or related field Additional Details: The IT Infrastructure Engineer role in this ITES/BPO/KPO industry requires a full-time, permanent commitment.
