Global Insurance Risk Manager

As a Global Insurance Risk Manager at HCL, your role involves leading and administering the overall insurance program globally for HCL Technologies Ltd and its 100+ subsidiaries. You should have a minimum of 15 years of stable Insurance experience with a professional insurance education background. Your responsibilities include: - Developing a deep understanding of the Global Liability Insurance market and maintaining strong connections with insurers and reinsurers in London and the U.S. You should have experience dealing with Lawyers, Underwriters, and claim managers for settlement, arbitration, and mediation. - Conducting global insurance road shows and assisting in managing liability claims notification process to insurers. - Leading the P&C (Property and Casualty) and Liability lines renewals, identifying gaps in the existing insurance program, and monitoring changes in the dynamic reinsurance and insurance market. - Making recommendations for rating, wording, and insurers to the Treasury Head and advising the management on run-off cover and W&I Insurance placements during Mergers and Acquisitions. - Managing various insurance activities such as claims management, policy administration, and other insurance-related activities. This includes creating and managing all claims tracker, coordinating with legal and business teams for claims negotiations, and ensuring policy documents are received in a timely manner. Qualifications required for this role: - At least 15 years of stable Insurance experience with a professional insurance education background. - In-depth understanding of IT Customer Contracting practice and experience in vetting customer contracts. - Experience in conducting global insurance road shows and managing liability claims notification process to insurers. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, insurers, and reinsurers effectively.
