Global Account Executive(US and Canada)

Position Details:

Role: Accountant Global Accounting

Experience: 4 to 5 years (maximum)

Location: Viman Nagar Shift- 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Key Skills: Experience in global accounting processes, reconciliations, working knowledge of international accounting standards, and proficiency in accounting software/tools.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage end-to-end accounting for Koolatrons Canada and US entities in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain General Ledger accuracy and process journal entries.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Coordinate with Canadian and US teams for audits, tax filings, and compliance.
• Prepare and review management reports for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian GAAP and US GAAP.

Payroll Management & Compliance

• Oversee daily payroll management for Canadian and US employees.
• Perform weekly payroll closing in compliance with Canadian and US payroll laws.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
• Stay updated with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and IRS payroll requirements.
• Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure payroll inputs are accurate and on time.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 4-5 years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to Canada and US processes.
• Solid understanding of Canadian GAAP, US GAAP, and North American payroll compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with overseas teams.
• Proficiency in accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks, Sage, ADP, Ceridian, NetSuite, or similar.
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
