Manage and oversee execution of general accounting processes such as passing of journal entries and ledger entries, trial balance preparation, tallying of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements
Review and analyse the position of critical general ledger accounts on a monthly basis with the Consolidation team
Ensure that the Variance analysis and necessary reconciliations are carried out to enable timely closing of accounts on a monthly and annual basis
Coordinating with CS Team, Tax Team and Auditors for financial inputs and fulfilling audit requirement.
Establish and maintain procedures related to accounting, in accordance with Ind AS.
Coordination with various finance function heads for books closure Preparing Audit close calendar and coordinating with auditors for timely closure. Deal with around finance function head for schedule preparation and it audit. Handling complex accounting transactions, preparing detail accounting memo and close with auditors Doing research on latest enactments of laws impacting financial reporting e.g. SEBI regulations, Companies act, Ind AS addendums, new Ind AS insertions etc. Review and approve journal entries, relevant sub ledger and general ledger entries, accruals and recurring entries relating to day to day business activities, period end accounting entries, depreciation and devaluation entries, reversal of journal and ledger entries, etc. Oversee and review the mapping of entries to account heads defined in the General Ledger (GL). Review and approve the trial balance on a periodic basis Oversee month end and annual closing of books and tallying of accounts. Ensure that accounts are closed in a timely manner Review of Chart of accounts, Financial statement Grouping etc. XBRL filing of financial statements Filling 3CD form for tax audit.
Oversee the reconciliation of financial accounts to external sources and resolve any discrepancies that may arise
Review financial records and identify and resolve variances/ irregularities Ensure proper interface of sub ledgers to the general ledger. Review and approve necessary reconciliations Ensure reconciliations are received from all the team members along with the necessary sign offs.
Review general ledger accounts on a periodic basis with the Consolidation team and CFO.
Preparing quarterly financials as per SEBI LODR requirement etc as per Ind AS on FY basis and Group reporting as per IFRS on CY basis Identify variances / irregularities in the general ledger and take corrective action to drive improvements Interacting with CS and Tax team for various financial inputs to be submitted with authorities
Education : 'Chartered Accountant
Experience : 6-10 years
