Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced GIS Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spatial data, geospatial technologies, enterprise GIS architectures, and integration with cloud and enterprise IT systems. As a GIS Architect, you will provide strategic direction and technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing GIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities: • Solution Architecture: • Design scalable, maintainable, and secure GIS architecture to meet business and technical requirements. • Enterprise GIS Strategy: • Define enterprise GIS roadmaps, standards, and best practices aligning with IT strategy and business goals. • System Integration: • Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Asset Management, IoT, etc.) using APIs and middleware. • Cloud & Infrastructure: • Lead cloud migration strategies (Azure/AWS/GCP) for GIS workloads. Define storage, networking, and compute architecture for GIS platforms. • Data Management: • Define spatial data models, ETL pipelines, metadata standards, and data governance processes. • Application Development Oversight: • Provide guidance on the development of custom GIS applications, web maps, and mobile apps using platforms like Esri, Mapbox, or open-source frameworks. • Security & Compliance: • Ensure GIS solutions meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards. • Collaboration & Leadership: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor GIS developers and analysts, and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • Bachelors or Masters degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in GIS technologies with at least 3 years in a GIS Architect or technical leadership role. • Expertise with Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).

• Hands-on experience with spatial databases like PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server Spatial.

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based GIS deployment on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience in enterprise integration using REST APIs, web services, and messaging systems.

• Familiarity with open-source GIS tools (QGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers, Leaflet) is a plus.

• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

• Experience in integrating MAP in Angular application Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• Esri Certified Enterprise System Design Professional

• AWS / Azure Cloud Architect Certifications

• PMP or TOGAF certification • Experience in form io library.
