Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing drawing using Solid Works Design Software & Auto CAD. Knowledge of designing / detailing assemblies and sub - assemblies of Products. Knowledge in preparation of layouts, assembly drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings with necessary GD & T, preparation of Bill of material, maintenance of ECN, Drawing Revisions and Change level maintenance. Create and update database of design records for future reference purposes. Perform other design, new product Development activities as required. Knowledge in New Product Development using Customer input and developing products through Reverse Engineering concepts, product life cycle testing, design development activities. Studying existing Products, processes and implementing improvements. Maintenance of design and new product development documents as per IATF 16949 QMS is must. Technical co-ordination with other functional departments like production, purchase, and marketing Participating in CFT meetings, maintaining committed timelines and project files Basic Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good proficiency & hands on experience in using MS Office applications. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily directions from manager to accomplish the tasks. Share and collaborate effectively with others, create a positive team spirit Desired Candidate Profile: BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering qualifications with minimum 6+ years of experience in Automotive industry is preferred. Must have good knowledge in Solid Works & Auto CAD software. Knowledge in PPAP, APQP, DFMEA is preferred. Sound Understanding in GD&T in Customer Drawings. Role & responsibilities Being the Senior Quality Management representative for the company, candidate shall be responsible for implementing and executing processes and procedures as per IATF 16949 QMS. The candidate must be familiar & should be able to manage supplier audit, customer audit handling, new product development related audits & documentation. Leading the Quality Assurance team and ensuring that all the processes are strictly followed as per established procedures Planning and execution of internal Quality Audits to achieve zero non conformity (NC) during certification audits on a regular basis. Handling external certification agency / customer audits and proper closure of NC on time. Supplier audit / selection / continuous evaluation / Product and Process Audit and Action closure Monthly Quality Review Meeting Report Preparation and conducting MRM APQP Document Preparation, submission & Approval PPAP document preparation (supporting role with NPD) / maintenance of PPAP documents Coordinating with customers for New Products submission with PPAP documents. Prepare Agreement of Inspection based on OEM/Tier 1 customer requirement Understanding and implementing Customer Specific Requirements from all the customers Non-Conforming parts both at internal and suppliers monitoring and taking suitable corrective action to prevent reoccurrence Handling of Failure analysis (Customer inline /Warranty Part/ Field) 8D report preparation / review & on-time issue closures Effectiveness Monitoring of Customer Complaint Actions Ensure 5S/CIP/Kaizens are implemented across various functions. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE: Diploma or Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 7+ years experience in Automobile or Auto Components manufacturing industry is preferred. JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary responsibility of assembly operator is handling the day-to-day production and assembly activities in the assembly line and manufacturing of products / sub-assemblies as per drawing, SOP, Work Instructions and Control Plan. Note: The operator must be able to read, understand the SOP and Work Instruction and properly follow the instructions given by the production head/line in charge. Following instructions and procedures for use of fixtures & assembly equipment. Ensuring requirements given in the drawing and quality plan are fulfilled. Reporting of Nonconformity parts to production head/line in charge. Identifying and segregating OK and NOT OK/Rejected component. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Good clear communication skills. JOB DESCRIPTION: Procurement Planning & Support 1. Assist in preparing the material requirement plan every month based on existing stock levels & customers monthly order/schedule 2. Assist in sourcing raw materials, child parts, materials, consumables, based on production requirements. 3. Handling the sub - contracting related activities. 4. Support in procurement of indirect materials (office, maintenance, safety items, etc.). 5. Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as per approved requisitions. Monitor order status, get the material delivery date confirmed and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery. 6. Coordinate with transport and logistics firms to ensure timely delivery / collection of materials to / from suppliers. Vendor Management 1. Coordinate with existing suppliers for quotations and negotiations. 2. Support vendor evaluation and development activities. 3. Maintain updated supplier database with contact details, payment terms, and certifications etc. 4. Assist in monitoring supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery). 5. To prepare a supplier quality and delivery rating reports. 6. Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers. 7. Address supplier issues, delays, or co – ordinate with Quality department for any quality concerns 8. To plan safety stock for long lead-time items 9. Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. 10. Liaise with the stores team to reorder materials, based on monthly schedule needs and stock levels. Should track the status of pending orders and communicate expected delivery dates to the production / sales department Documentation & Records & System Discipline 1. Maintain accurate records of POs, quotations, delivery challans, and invoices. 2. Ensure proper filing of supplier agreements and contracts. 3. Track pending orders and update purchase trackers/reports. 4. Assist in compliance with IATF 16949 documentation requirements. 5. To properly maintain and track inventory turnover ratio (ITR) for all individual products. 6. To assist in bank stock statement preparation. 7. Effective usage of ERP in the area of responsibility (i.e.) Purchase. 8. Material planning to update the physical stock in both the ERP system and manually. Cost & Budget Control 1. Collect and compare quotations to support cost-effective purchasing decisions. 2. Assist in cost analysis and price negotiations with suppliers. 3. Support management in achieving cost reduction targets. Coordination & Communication 1. Liaise with production, stores, and accounts for material requirements and payment processing. 2. Follow up with suppliers and transporters to ensure on-time deliveries. 3. Report purchase status, overstocking, shortages, and delivery delays and escalate any supplier issues to Purchase Head.
