Accounts Assistant

1. Preparation of sale invoices, Managing Accounts receivables, producing statement of accounts, collection of payment from overdue accounts, reconciliation of accounts on a timely manner

2. Accounts payable, includes processing of supplier invoices and payments to suppliers as per agreed credit period, following up with suppliers and resolving the discrepancies in a timely manner.

3. Thorough knowledge of GST and timely preparation & submission of monthly returns.

4. Timely preparation, reconciliation and submission of annual GST returns

5. Processing of Employees daily expenses (petty cash), Verifying the expenses are as per company guidelines.

6. Knowledge in legal & statutory compliance including TDS / Factories act / ESI / PF.

7. Preparation of Employees monthly salary statement.

8. Preparation of cash flow statement

9. Reconciling Debtor & Creditor accounts and reporting on monthly / Quarterly basis

10. Providing support to auditor for conducting Internal audits

11. Ensuring timely and accurate submission of MIS reports.

12. Accounting of Payments & Receipts and Bank Reconciliation

13. Preparation of Monthly Profit and Loss Statement

14. Maintenance of books and retention of important statutory records.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

1) Bachelors degree in commerce / M. Com/ Business administration or relevant qualifications with 4+ years experience in manufacturing industry/any industry is preferred.

2) Must have excellent knowledge in Tally accounting software

3) Sound Understanding and possess knowledge on accounting principles

4) Highly detail oriented and organised.

5) Candidates from Chennai (In & around Tambaram location) will be given preference.
