HPC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of HPC clusters.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system monitoring using Python and Bash.
• Support users in running and troubleshooting jobs on HPC systems using job schedulers like SLURM or PBS.
• Optimize performance of applications and manage system resources effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, research-driven projects.
• Maintain system documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of HPC infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:

  BCA / BE in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field with HPC certification.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in HPC-related projects.

• Operating Systems:

  Strong proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).

• Programming Languages:

  Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting, and working knowledge of C/C++.

• Job Schedulers:

  Familiarity with job schedulers like SLURM, PBS, or similar.

• Concepts:

  Understanding of parallel computing fundamentals and networking basics.

• Soft Skills:

  Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
