Geologist

As a Geologist in our company, your role will involve planning, coordinating, and supervising geotechnical and geological investigations for various projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting subsurface investigations, soil and rock classification, and groundwater assessment. - Reviewing and interpreting borehole logs, lab test results, and geophysical survey data. - Preparing geological and geotechnical reports, site investigation summaries, and recommendations for design and construction teams. - Liaising with design, structural, and execution teams for foundation design and site-related technical support. - Identifying geological risks such as slope stability, seismic hazards, subsidence, and suggesting appropriate mitigation measures. - Ensuring compliance with IS codes, BIS standards, and internal quality norms. - Coordinating with external consultants, laboratories, and contractors for field and lab investigations. - Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams. - Contributing to knowledge sharing, best practices, and development of internal databases for soil and rock properties.
