Geologist – Iron Ore (Namibia) Location: Namibia (Country in Southern Africa) Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in mineral exploration. Our vision is to build a sustainable and efficient mining operation that contributes to the growth of the region and the advancement of Namibia’s mining sector. Position: Geologist – Iron Ore Key Responsibilities: Lead geological exploration and mapping programs focused on iron ore deposits . Plan and execute field exploration campaigns including sampling, drilling supervision, and core logging. Collect, interpret, and analyze geological and geophysical data to define ore bodies and assess reserves. Prepare detailed geological models, cross-sections, and reports for resource estimation. Coordinate with mining engineers and other departments to support project planning and development. Ensure all geological activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology , Geoscience , or related field. Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in mineral exploration, with significant exposure to iron ore projects . Strong knowledge of geological modeling, sampling methods, and mineral resource estimation techniques. Proficiency in geological software. Excellent leadership, analytical, and reporting skills. Ability to work in field-based environments and remote project areas. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with authorities and local communities.
