JD: Generative AI & AIOps Consultant About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Generative AI & AIOps Consultant to be part of Tech Mahindras fastest growing AI delivery unit. This role will be pivotal in driving the delivery for our customers on Generative AI and AIOps solutions, leveraging the power of Generative AI and Agentic AI to deliver desired benefits of cost, agility and productivity in IT operations, and providing expert guidance to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding and prior experience on solutioning and consulting on Generative AI use cases and applications in IT operations and in business operations. The role also requires a strong understanding of IT Service Management processes, IT Operations Management and AIOps principles, coupled with hands-on experience in developing and implementing Generative AI solutions. This role will initially focus on due diligence, use case mining, and strategic consulting, requiring excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Consulting & Advisory: • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on AIOps and Generative AI strategies. • Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner. • Develop and deliver training programs on Generative AI and AIOps concepts and technologies. • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in AIOps and Generative AI. Collaboration & Communication: • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency. • Document all work, including code, configurations, and reports. Due Diligence & Assessment • Conduct thorough assessments of client environments, including cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, data, and processes, to identify opportunities for AIOps and Generative AI use cases. • Analyze existing service and operations management processes, practices and SOP’s to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. • Evaluate the maturity of client's data infrastructure and readiness for AI-driven solutions and create an AI-IS state of maturity. • Develop comprehensive reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential ROI for AIOps and Generative AI initiatives and create a TO-BE state of maturity. • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT operations, development, and business teams to identify and document high-value AIOps and Generative AI use cases. • Prioritize use cases based on business impact, technical feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives. • Develop detailed use case specifications, including data requirements, algorithms, and expected outcomes. Generative AI Solution Design & Development • Design and develop Generative AI and AIOps use cases, such as incident analysis, root cause analysis, log analysis, anomaly detection, and automated remediation. • Leverage pre-trained models and fine-tune them for specific client needs. • Develop custom Generative AI models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. • Integrate Generative AI solutions with existing ITSM and ITOM platforms. AIOps Implementation & Optimization • Provide expert guidance on the implementation of AIOps platforms and tools. • Configure and customize AIOps solutions to meet specific client requirements. • Develop and implement automation workflows to streamline IT operations processes. • Monitor and optimize AIOps solutions to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience spanning across traditional AI, Generative AI, IT operations and AIOps. Generative AI Expertise • Proven experience in developing and implementing Generative AI solutions using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar especially in IT Operations and services. • Deep understanding of Generative AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), transformers, and other relevant architectures. • Experience in fine-tuning pre-trained models for specific use cases. • Experience with prompt engineering and techniques for controlling Generative AI outputs. AIOps Expertise • Strong understanding of AIOps principles, methodologies, and tools. • Experience with AIOps platforms such as Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, Moogsoft, or similar. • Experience in implementing AIOps solutions for incident management, problem management, change management, and other IT operations processes. ITSM & ITOM Proficiency • Deep understanding of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL. • Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar. • Strong knowledge of ITOM concepts, including monitoring, alerting, and automation. Technical Skills • Proficiency in Python and scripting languages • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Strong understanding and experience working on containerized environments like Dockers or Kubernetes. • Experience in building AI applications and models including traditional AI models for anomaly detection, clustering or classification, timeseries, regression or logistics regression forecasting models
