Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end buyer responsibilities within the Thermal Power Plant.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team to drive performance excellence.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the Thermal Power Plant operations.

Qualifications

B. Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
MBA
Material Management certification
15-20 years of experience in the Thermal Power Plant industry
