General Manager - Strategy

As an orchestrator at Wavemaker, your role is to integrate various functions to provide holistic business solutions. With a strong track record in delivering tangible results for clients, you will be leading clients in strategic thinking across business, media, data, and technology. Your responsibilities will include managing client business, engaging with global teams, and bringing the best of Wavemaker, GroupM, and WPP to clients and internal teams. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, your success will be measured by building relationships with key decision-makers, proactively engaging with clients, using WPP Open tools, and setting up measurement frameworks. In six months, you are expected to deliver additional value to clients, establish yourself as a lead, and improve team communication. By the end of 12 months, you should be considered a business leader providing tangible benefits to clients and the agency. Your responsibilities will involve leading the strategy team, providing planning leadership, partnering with account and functional heads, understanding ecosystems, infusing best practices, integrating multimedia opportunities, and leveraging the Wavemaker ecosystem. You should have 16-18 years of experience in the media industry, exposure to senior clients, integrated media knowledge, problem-solving abilities, continuous learning mindset, presentation skills, and experience managing teams.
