Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee and lead our Pharma Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical management, strategic planning, operations oversight, and team leadership. This role will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence within the pharma division. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Leadership : Develop and implement the divisions strategic plan, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. Provide leadership to the pharma division, guiding teams towards achieving business goals. Identify market opportunities, potential risks, and growth strategies to enhance the divisions profitability and market position. Operational Oversight : Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharma division, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. Monitor production and supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Implement processes to optimize production and distribution, while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance. Financial Management : Develop and manage the divisions budget, ensuring financial goals and targets are met. Control costs and identify opportunities for improving the financial performance of the pharma division. Monitor key financial metrics and generate reports for senior management. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight : Ensure all operations within the pharma division comply with relevant local and international pharmaceutical regulations. Stay updated with industry standards, government regulations, and trends to ensure adherence to compliance guidelines. Collaborate with regulatory bodies for audits, inspections, and product approvals. Business Development & Market Growth : Drive business development initiatives, including partnerships, acquisitions, and new product lines within the pharma sector. Develop marketing strategies to increase the visibility and competitiveness of the pharma products. Lead market research to identify emerging trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Team Leadership & Development : Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to employees within the pharma division to enhance their skills and career growth. Promote a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns and managing performance effectively. Customer & Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and healthcare professionals. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining strong partnerships. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences , Life Sciences , Business Administration , or related field (Master’s preferred). Experience : At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in pharma industry. Proven track record of success in managing pharma operations, business development, and financial management. Skills : Strong leadership and team management abilities. Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and cost control. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of industry trends and emerging market opportunities. Personal Qualities : Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset. Strong focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Preferred Skills: Experience in global pharmaceutical markets and international business operations. Familiarity with pharma manufacturing processes , R&D , and product lifecycle management . Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and leading cross-functional projects. Work Environment: This role involves a combination of office and on-site work at pharmaceutical facilities. Flexibility in working hours may be required to manage operations across different time zones or urgent matters.
