Job Title: General Manager - Metallurgy/Foundry (Casting Industry)
Location: Ludhiana
Salary: ₹9,00,000 to ₹11,00,000 per annum
Qualification: B.Tech (Mechanical)
Experience: Minimum 8 years in the Casting Industry with strong expertise in Metallurgy
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all metallurgical and production activities in the casting division.
Ensure quality standards and metallurgical specifications are met for all cast products.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance casting quality, yield, and efficiency.
Supervise metallurgical testing, analysis, and documentation processes.
Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams to optimize material selection and heat treatment processes.
Implement cost control, productivity, and process optimization strategies.
Guide and mentor technical teams for continuous improvement and innovation.
Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge of foundry processes, SG Iron casting, CI Iron Casting, heat treatment, and metallurgy.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and decision-making abilities.
