General Manager – Electrical Manufacturing Department

Position Title: General Manager (GM)

Department: Electrical Manufacturing

Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Experience Required: Minimum 12+ Years

Location: B-12,ELECON Partapur,Meerut

Reporting To: Managing Director

Job Summary:-The General Manager (Electrical Manufacturing) will lead and manage end-to-end operations of the electrical manufacturing department. The role requires strong expertise in inspection processes, electrical licensing requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. The GM will ensure high-quality production, cost efficiency, process improvements, and workforce management.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete electrical manufacturing operations.
• Develop daily/weekly production plans and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor inspection procedures for raw materials, in-process items, and final products.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Maintain all licenses required for electrical manufacturing (BIS, ISI, CE, factory licenses, electrical safety certificates, etc.).
• Prepare and submit documents for renewals, audits, and regulatory checks.
• Coordinate with government departments, testing labs, certification authorities.
• Reduce wastage, downtime, and production costs through effective planning.
• Promote a culture of discipline, safety, and continuous improvement.

3. Required Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / MBA/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in electrical & manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with inspection, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
