Gemologist

This is a full-time on-site role for a Gemologist at IGI. As the Gemologist, you will be responsible for the quality check of loose diamonds and utilizing your expertise in gemology. Your main task will involve examining diamond jewelry and their settings to evaluate their quality, characteristics, and value. You will need to grade, analyze, and identify gemstones using various laboratory tools and equipment to ensure compliance with established standards. To excel in this role, you should have relevant experience in diamond grading, gemology knowledge, and expertise. Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to communicate effectively. This position falls under the Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry industry and is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The schedule for this role includes day shifts from Monday to Friday, with morning shifts on a rotational basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
