Job Title: Gelatin Preparation Operator – Softgel Section Company: Lavanya Healthcare Limited Location: Khewat No. 359/310, Behra Road, Derabassi, Punjab Experience Required: 3–4 years in Gelatin Preparation, Colour Matching, and related processes Qualification: 12 Pass Industry: Pharmaceutical / Healthcare Employment Type: Full-Time Age limit: Not more than 35 years Shift: Must be ready to work in shifts Role Description: We are seeking experienced Gelatin Preparation Operators to join our Softgel manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing gelatin masses, including accurate mixing, colour matching, equipment handling, and adherence to quality standards. The role requires a detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and quality-driven professional who is willing to work in shifts. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Gelatin Preparation: Prepare gelatin mass as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch manufacturing records (BMRs). ✅ Colour Matching: Perform accurate colour matching and addition of pigments/dyes as per product specifications. Conduct shade matching checks and record results to ensure compliance with quality standards. ✅ Equipment Handling: Operate and monitor gelatin preparation equipment (gelatin cookers, mixers, storage tanks) safely and efficiently. Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and readiness of equipment before and after each batch. ✅ Process Monitoring & Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of gelatin preparation processes, including batch records, yield reports, and process logs. Monitor and record critical process parameters to ensure product consistency and traceability. ✅ Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process quality checks (viscosity, pH, temperature) as per SOP. Immediately report deviations and assist in investigating process non-conformities. ✅ Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to GMP, safety, and hygiene standards at all times. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols for handling raw materials and equipment. ✅ Teamwork & Shift Work: Collaborate with colleagues in softgel manufacturing and quality teams. Weigh and mix raw materials accurately, ensuring correct proportions of gelatin, plasticizers, colour, and other additives. Control process parameters (temperature, time, mixing speed) for optimal gelatin consistency and quality.
