GDS Ticketing Executive Company: Need Eighty Two Forex and Travels Pvt. Ltd. Location: 125/2, Taki Rd, Kalikapur, Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal 700124 Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month Job Overview: Need Eighty Two Forex and Travels Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable GDS Ticketing Executive to join our dynamic travel and tourism team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the air ticketing department and managing all aspects related to flight bookings. Proficiency in GDS systems (such as Galileo is a must). Key Responsibilities: Assist the Air Department with daily operations related to air ticketing. Handle domestic and international flight bookings and re-bookings. Use GDS platforms (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre) to search, book, and issue tickets. Process cancellations, refunds, and schedule changes as required. Coordinate with airlines and suppliers for fare quotes, group bookings, and queries. Maintain accurate records of bookings and client preferences. Provide fare comparisons and suggest cost-effective travel solutions to clients. Ensure timely issuance and delivery of tickets to clients. Assist in preparing reports related to air bookings and departmental activities. Support the team in handling client calls, emails, and escalations professionally. Requirements: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in air ticketing or a similar support role in the travel industry. Strong knowledge of GDS platforms ( Galileo is mandatory), ( Amadeus or Sabre is optional ) Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines. Good organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, and industry terminology. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate or Diploma in Travel & Tourism or related field. Certification in GDS training will be an added advantage.
