Position Title: Ward Assistant/ GDA (Ward Boy / Ward Girl)

Qualification: 10th Pass/Higher Education

Experience: 1 to 2 years (Training in basic patient care and infection control)

Purpose of the Role

To provide essential non-clinical patient care support and maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in patient care areas under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to hospital and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients in personal hygiene, movement, and comfort needs.
• Support nursing staff during admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of wards, beds, and equipment.
• Transport patients, samples, and equipment as per protocol.
• Dispose biomedical waste as per infection control norms.
• Ensure timely availability of linen, consumables, and medical supplies.
• Respond promptly to patient and staff needs as directed by nursing team.

• Basic patient handling and safety awareness.
• Respectful communication and empathy towards patients.
• Discipline, punctuality, and hygiene consciousness.

Qualification & Experience

10th pass or equivalent; prior experience in hospital patient care preferred.
Training in basic patient care and infection control desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
